Sultana's dream was published in the Magazine The Indian Ladies'. Fortunately, the text of the story has survived. It reads like a feminist future vision. But this is not only a feminist vision, but also a wonderfully written science fiction story. It is a vision where women rule the country and men are holed up in "zanana" which is now called «mardana.» Given that women are placed there is peace everywhere and all the work through the use of science is done effectively and intelligently.

Some excerpts from the story:

Why men should be locked:

And you do not think it is wise to keep the sane people inside the asylum and let loose the fool? »

'Of course not!' said I laughed slightly.

"In fact, in your country, this thing is done! Men, or at least capable of doing endless of malice, are loose and innocent, who had held women in the zenana! How can trust you these men untrained outdoors? »

"Because"Mardana"system was created, no there was no crime or Sin; Therefore, we do not ask a policeman discover a culprit, or we do not want a judge to decide a criminal case. »

Harnessing solar energy:

The kitchen was located in a beautiful garden. Each vine, each tomato plant itself was an ornament. I found no smoke nor any fireplace or in the kitchen, it was clean and bright; the windows were decorated with flower gardens. It there was no sign of fire or coal.

"How do you cook? '' I asked.

"With solar heat," she said, at the same time showing me the pipe, through which past concentrated the Sun's light and heat. And she cooked something there and to show me the process.

Vehicle of the future:

She screwed then some seats on a square piece of Board. This Board it has attached two balls smooth and well polished. When I asked what the balls were for, she says, they were balls of hydrogen and they have been used to overcome the force of gravity. The balls have different abilities to use according to the different weight desired to overcome. It is then fastened to the car air wing form two blades, which, said, have been shaped by electricity. After that we were comfortably seated she touched a button and the blades began to turn, moving faster and faster each time. As a first step, we have grown at about six or seven feet and then offshore, we flew. And before I could realize that we started to move, we reached the garden of the Queen.

My friend has lowered the car air - reversing the action of the machine and when the car hit the soil the machine is stopped, and we went out.

Justice first, then love

Man surrounded by sun rays

By Wael Abdelgawad | IslamicSunrays.com

' Say: 'My Lord ordered justice...' " -Quran Surat al - A'raf, 29

Some speak of love it if this is the answer to the ills of the world:

"All you need is love"... "God is love"... "Jesus loves you." And so forth.

But Islam chooses instead to focus on justice, because when people perceive that they are treated fairly and with justice, everything else becomes possible. The Qur'an speaks of love, but it focuses on justice more strongly.

«Ye who believe!» be the defenders of justice, testifying for Allah alone, even against you or your parents and your loved ones. Be they rich or poor, Allah is well able to deal with them. Do not follow your own desires and deviate from the truth. If you to twist or turn away, Allah is aware of what do you "-Koran Surat an-Nisa', ' 135

What does it mean to speak of love both oppress people? What does it mean to speak of love while hosting racial prejudice, or by supporting the occupation of another country, or engage in oppressive practices? On a personal level, which means to speak of love while abusing his or her spouse or children?

No. be fair and give people their rights. Harm anyone, person cheat and oppress anyone. Be kind and compassionate to friends and strangers. Do this and everything will follow: peace, harmony, love and progress. This is the Islamic way.

If we do not see justice practiced today in the Muslim world – and we do not, for the most part - it is because many Muslims do not live Islam. They are infected by the anti-Islamic ideologies and behaviours such as tribalism and hatred sectarian misogyny. We have lost our way as an Ummah. The last centuries have reduced us from Kings of the Earth to the bickering of children, and we now have to grow all over again.

Read this verse. Defenders of justice even against yourselves. Carry the torch of truth. Judge for yourselves before the others. Be fair, be kind and help children sitting in the dust, crying for a piece of food, or the safety of the artillery. Think your spouse needs before your own. Perform your duties to your children: not only financially, but the functions of time, care, playing, hugging and be always honest.

And here's something that you have done: practised at this deep level of justice begins to look much love. The difference is the starting point: no flowery words, but concrete of justice on its societal and personal expression.

Justice and goodness are a rich ground of what love grows. Be fair.
